Stream Services was rebranded in 2019 following its acquisition by IPS International, an oil and gas service company with operations in the U.S. and Latin America, headquartered in Conroe, Texas.

Our goal is to provide quality services and products to our Clients at competitive prices. Stream works closely with Clients to provide the best solution for each unique project, and to achieve the optimal results.

We keep at the forefront of technology by continually complementing our inventory with new and enhanced products which improve the performance of our operations, and as a result deliver better services to our Clients.

Stream Services is a private company created by experts in the drilling industry, with experience in the oil & gas and geothermal sectors around the world.

The complete removal of plugs must be achieved to bring the wellbore online and achieve maximum production. Failure to remove plugs causes formation decline and associated nonproductive time (NPT).

Stream’s frac-stim solutions effectively remove all plugs, even in highly-deviated, long-horizontal wellbores. Operators save time on location and overall well costs by using effective plug drilling chemistries that reduce the number of required trips.

Stream’s chemical trailers provide large quantities of specialty chemicals to mixing plants and pump trucks. The trailers’ meters ensure accurate chemical delivery, and using large totes minimizes well site waste by eliminating chemical buckets.

Oilfield mixing plant units are designed to enhance the fluid capabilities and chemical hydration of a coil tubing unit during the drill out of plugs and or the clean out of laterals and toe preps before fracing. Stream’s oilfield mixing plants are trailer mounted, which have the ability to mix the chemicals (friction reducer, pipe on pipe lubricant, xanthan slurry, biocide) used for the drill out process with a double tank system and dedicated pump for each tank.

Our chemical mixing plant has a 100 BBL Total Capacity . The 60 BBL working tank has a 5×4 centrifugal pump coupled with 1) shearing jet and 1) dual agitators, specifically engineered to the pump capabilities. This tank is used to continuously hydrate the chemicals for mechanical lubricity during the drill out process. The pumps have been designed and tested to pump to the pumping unit at variable rates ranging from .5 BBLS to 10 BBLS per minute and continuously hydrate the chemicals simultaneously.

The mixing plant has a dedicated hopper for other uses of chemicals (powdered mixers) if required.

The sweep tank is a 40 BBL tank with a 5×4 centrifugal pump, coupled with 1) Shearing jet and 1) agitator capable of 10 BBLS per minute to the pumping unit and continuously hydrate the viscosifiers simultaneously. This tank also has access to the dedicated hopper for chemical mixture. Each of our tanks have variable speed control with ranges from .5 BPM up to 17 BPM.

The work tank (60 BBLS) will circulate internally at 20 bpm. The Sweap tank (40 BBL) will circulate internally at 15 BPM.

These units are designed to be utilized on open and or closed loop procedures.

Stream is an industry provider of quality completion chemicals.

Friction Reducers
Excess frictional forces are common in extended reach operations. When this occurs, operators are unable to pump at optimal rates for effective cleaning of the wellbore and cuttings transport. Stream continually evaluates friction reducers under varying conditions and develops new products that are the best performers in the market. Based on unbiased, third-party lab results, Streams friction reducers reduce friction better than competing polymers and allow operators to pump higher flow rates at lower costs.

Pipe on Pipe – Lubricants
Stream only uses the most highly effective lubricants, which significantly lower the metal on metal coefficient of friction in order to reduce torque and drag. Our line of lubricants have the lowest coefficient of friction compared to other leading pipe on pipe fluids.

Viscosifying Gel
In a horizontal wellbore, fluid velocity is not adequate to effectively clean the wellbore. As such, high-cutting carrying capacity polymers are required to properly clean the wellbore and prevent pipe sticking and other related issues.

Streams line provides a premium viscosity profile for cleaning the horizontal wellbore and includes gel slurries, dry powders and polymers. Liquid xanthan gum product delivers the highest thixotropic properties in the industry. Slurried systems are environmentally-friendly, possess no BETX and have extended shelf life to deliver a uniform quick-yielding product.

Friction Reducers
High pressures during fracturing stages limits the amount of fluids that can be effectively pumped downhole. Streams friction reducers decrease pressures up to 30% better than alternative products, so that clients can pump greater volumes of proppant through perforations.

Surfactants
Stream offers a wide variety of surfactants designed to optimize well performance. Our surfactants range from water-wetting downhole tubulars to remediating of formation damage potential. The solutions also reduce workover operations and boost return on investment.

Scale Inhibitors
Scales formed due to water incompatibilities during the fracturing stage can lead to failures. Streams inhibitors prevent such incompatibilities to extend the life of coil tubing and related equipment. Inhibitors treat a broad range of scale types and penetrate the crystalline structures to prevent them from forming.

Biocides
Using biocides during fracturing is a critical step in preventing bacteria formation downhole. If the water used during a frac is contaminated, bateria can spread throughout the formation, damaging porosity and permeability. This contamination creates added expenses for the operator, which will continue for years down the road. With Streams biocide line, customers minimize bacteria-related problems, thereby reducing chemical spending over the life of the wells.
